Distinguished personalities from the field of public service, sports and entertainment will be awarded the Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan and Padma Shri awards.  These awards are conferred by the President of India at ceremonial functions which are held at Rashtrapati Bhawan usually around March/ April every year.
